Conditions of agency services

 
Jobs on ships by our agency.
 
Dohle Marine Services Europe as a Recruitment Agency provide services for employment of seafarers on board ships, in accordance with national regulations and international conventions. Our agency holds a Certificate of compliance with Maritme Labour Convention (MLC 2006). The Agency does not provide hiring of minors, and for job placement services there are no charges. 
 
Between the Agency and the seafarer, a Work Agency Agreement is concluded. The agreement sets out the respective rights and obligations of both parties and in particular, underlines the responsibility of the agency in helping seafarer to resolve disputes arising from the employment relationship on board the vessel. 
 
The Seafarer has the right to complain to the owner, agent, or ship-managener.
 
 

The procedure for placing a complaint by Seafarer.

Complaints about the Ship, the Owner, or Ship-Manager.
 
1. Sailor places the complaint in writing to the appropriate Crewing
Operator.
2. Crew operator sends a message and information about the complaint submitted to the appropriate Ship Owner or Manager together with the notice to the Director or the President of the Agency.

3. All complaints will be entered into the record of complaints.

4. Time for consideration of the complaint and the answer is 14 working days from receiving the complaint.

5. In case of unsatisfactory response, the Seafarer has the right to appeal to the State Administration.

 

Complaints about the Agency services.
 
1. Complaints about Reception are submitted to the Director and dealt with within 7 working days.

2. Complaints about the Recruiting department shall be submitted to the Director or the President and processed within 14 working days.

3. Complaints about Crew Operators shall be submitted to the President and dealt with within 14 working days.

4. All complaints will be entered into the record of complaints.

5. In case of unsatisfactory response, the Seafarer has the right to appeal to the State Administration.
